07 May 2012 Media is instrumental in defining the democracy: Kapil Sibal

Union Minister for HRD, Communication and IT, Kapil Sibal, said democracy defined by the freedom of speech and expression while media is instrumental in defining the democracy. While speaking on the occasion of National Press Awards for Excellence in Journalism organized by Mumbai Press Club, the minister said that the media had played a significant role in protecting democracy; however, he said the media is concentrating too much
